Pro:12 Mousse - Ammonium Lactate 12% - is a pharmaceutical-grade moisturizer that facilitates the repair and rebuilding of distressed skin. This product is ideal for conditions such as dry, flaky, treatment-inflamed or aging skin, depleted of nourishment.

The main ingredient in Pro:12 Mousse is ammonium lactate. Lactate is an alpha hydroxyl acid that occurs as a natural humectant in the skin. Due to aging and/or geographic weather conditions, our skin loses its ability to adequately hydrate both the dermis and epidermis. Therefore, a product that contains a humectant will enhance both healing and hydration.

Humectants are water binding molecules. These molecules have the ability to maintain nutrient-filled fluid thus minimizing TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss). The result is healthy, hydrated, skin turgor and texture.
